| Adding a Paint Layer |
 |
|
You can add a layer that allows you to draw freehand strokes on your image using a brush tool.
Use paint layers to:
• Add freehand drawing to the image
• Emphasize or de-emphasize areas of the image
• Erase part of the image
To add a paint layer:
Choose Add Paint Layer in the Effects List.
Or, choose Add Paint Layer from the Effects menu.
Or, choose Add Paint Layer from the Effects contextual menu.
You can add as many paint layers as you want. Each paint layer is treated as an effect in the Effects chain. You can control which effects are applied to the paint layer by changing the order in the Effects chain. |
 |
|
Each paint layer can contain multiple strokes. Each stroke can have a different color and a different stroke width and shape.
The Paint Layer Effect Controller lets you set the brush shape (round or square), the stroke size and the stroke color for each stroke. You can change these settings between strokes. |
